Since last Thanksgiving their has been a lot going on around the Mulder House. Actually over the last three years (ever since we were engaged) we have been searching for the perfect place to call home and this year we are so thankful and blessed to be living in "our own home". So thankful to our realtor, Jim, so thankful to all our parents & family for all the support that was given throughout this time. We have enjoyed every part of that journey, good, bad & frustrating it has been...but well worth it. We actually signed the closing documents for our condo on our 2nd Anniversary...we will always remember that day. We were also blessed this year to add an new addition to the Mulder klan when Brandon's sister, Kayla, was married to Kevin VanWingerden in March. Shortly after Kayla & Kevin's wedding, Grandpa Mulder was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer. It was quite a shock to the entire family and really hits home when someone you are so close to and love is faced with this horrible disease. Grandpa has definitely been blessed this year and we are truly blessed to still have him here after all he has been through. We love you Grandpa!! Overall, this past year since last Thanksgiving has been a turbulent yet exciting and fun adventure and we thank God for everything that we have been given this time of year. Our family is so lucky to be able to spend this time of the year together in a safe & warm home. We are so thankful each day for our wonderful parents who always find time to help us & guide us even though we do not live with them anymore. We thank God for our wonderful siblings...Kelsey, Kayla, Kevin, April & Cassie...you all are so special and we cannot wait to see where God leads us all in the years to come. We also thank God for placing us together...we both could not imagine our lives without each other...we will continue to put our full faith in God that he has a plan for our lives in the many years to come together.
"Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever."
Psalm 107:1
