We are finally on our way to getting our name put onto the "Adoptive Parents" list...meaning basically the waiting list. The only thing now that is separating us is the Home Study paperwork & interviews and then the training day on June 12th...we should officially be on the list hopefully by the end of June. After working about three weeks on our formal application (nitty gritty application) we are now waiting on our Home Study paperwork to arrive and also working on our family profile books. This is the fun part getting pictures together and submitting a book (photo book) showing birthparents a picture into our lives. We submitted our application on-line by saying a prayer of hope & faith and hitting the SUBMIT button together.
