Ok so I am on the search for new recipes to add to our up and coming cookbook for another adoption fundraiser (let me know if you would like to purchase one to...we will probably complete them in May or early June & am thinking around $12-15). Anyway, back to my post...so I was looking for new recipes to try the other day and found this one...they are so easy and so good...check it out:Yogurt Chocolate Chip Cookies
"Eggless Cookie"
Ingredients:
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup margarine or butter
1/4 cup shortening
1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt (I used vanilla)
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a medium bowl, cream together the brown sugar, white sugar, margarine and shortening until light and fluffy. Stir in yogurt and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt. Stir into creamed mixture until incorporated, the mix in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto cookie sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes in the oven, until the edges are lightly brown. Cool completely.
So Brandon & I already tried one...they are great!!
