As I stated in my recent post the training was the last thing we needed in order to send our Home Study off to Seattle for approval. Well things changed a little :( Since our Adoption Specialist from Seattle is gone on vacation until July 6th I decided I should probably e-mail the contact she gave me to a lady in the Seattle office. I e-mailed her to make sure that everything for our Home Study was in their hands for approval...well come to find out the lady that approves Home Studies and families for the waiting list has actually been out of town a lot too making us now #5 on the waiting list. This meaning that we still have another month or so (or so part I am scared of) to wait for approval. #5 might not seem so bad or a month not so bad to you but we have now been in this process for 5 months & "baby" process since last Spring. We were just anticipating being on that list at the end of June & knowing that once we get back from vacation we could literally get a call at any moment, but instead we wait...we wait for God's timing not ours realizing this is just the first step in this waiting process. We still have to be choosen by a birthmom, still have to wait for delivery & still have to wait for all parental rights to be terminate...a lot of WAITING ahead of us!! Please pray that possibly that approval will not take a month or so....

I'm so sorry. :( Praying with you. I know this frustration all too well. Still waiting for God's perfect timing with our little princess...but I know when that call finally comes I will see the perfectness of it all. I know you will too! =) HUGS!
