6 Months In...

So today marks 6 months since we have started our Adoption Journey. I can't believe that it has already been six months & we are any day from being on the "waiting" list. Normally when your 6 months pregnant you are approaching your 3rd trimester...meaning packing hospital bags, making sure you have names choosen, getting insurance & other important documents ready & much much more planning. And YES we are still doing all this...names are choosen (boy or girl - first & middle), hospital bag is almost packed, insurance documents are ready & now we just wait. But the worst part about this is we just wait not knowing a due date so to speak...we could be bringing our newest addition home in 2 weeks or 2 years...this makes the waiting seem longer than the first part of this process.

As National Adoption Day approaches (Friday in November) we are praying that we may get to finalize our adoption with the rest of the adoptive families in Whatcom County and all over the world in fact. This is an important & if it's in God's timing we pray this will be the day we officially have another Mulder added to the family.

Now we wait...
