Weekend Fun...

We had a great time this weekend enjoying sun, fun and friends & family...Friday night started off with an outing to the Deming Speedway with my family. We headed up around dinner time & enjoyed so raceway food & goodies and then enjoyed a good show...little kids even raced and there were a few flips and crashes but no accidents thank goodness!!

Kelsey, Mom & Dad (AKA Poppy-seed)...total family joke but basically we were sitting prior to race time talking about mom & dad doing things with their grandkids someday (hopefully soon) and asked what they wanted to be called so we thought that Grandma D & Grandpa C would be cute...well Kelsey always calls my dad "Poppy" so then she said how about Poppy C...then came Poppy Seed...now it's kind of a joke!!

Then Saturday morning we were invited to come what the Old Settlers Day Parade by Ferndale Grain with Brandon's dad's boss, Roger & Joanne...we enjoyed awesome company, food & of course a great Ferndale parade...THANKS ROGER & JOANNE for a great time!!
