We cannot believe that we are approved!!! We received the e-mail Thursday afternoon from Bethany and we were both so overcome with excitement, tears of joy and now feel reassured more than ever that this is God's calling for our family. So what's the next step you ask? Well now we wait...we wait for the perfect child that God has chosen for our family. Literally this could mean that we could be welcoming "Baby Mulder" into our home this month or next year...God only truly knows!!
We as Christians are so blessed to be able to be adopted into God's family too...if you read in the Bible it states that we are all adopted children of God. This means no matter our religion, gender, ethnic background or skin color...God welcomed us freely into his family why wouldn't we welcome every child of God's into ours. We feel more than honored that God has chosen us to start our family through adoption. We cannot even imagine anything else for our family...we are 100% open to whatever God places in our lives. Whether that be a little boy or girl, Caucasian, Asian or Hispanic little child we will welcome them with open arms...just like God did to all of us.

We hope this gives you a better understanding of our feelings in our adoption journey...All we ask is for continued support, love & encouragement. Although if you have not adopted before you may not understand the feelings that we feel on a daily basis but please continue to support our decision because this is truly God's calling for our family!!!
