"Hope...Is The Only Way"

We have a little adoption update...so today we got an e-mail from Rebecca again stating that there is a new birthmother working with the Bellingham office. This is so exciting because finally there is a mom working with our local office we are dealing with...although she is in a different state. We were told that our book was mailed off to this new birthmother who is expecting in March sometime. WOW that would be so awesome because our 4th wedding anniversary will be in March plus if it all works out they will already have another cousin by then :) Please pray that as this mom looks at our book that she might be open to whatever possibilities God places before her.
Recently we have reached our 8 month of the adoption process...although this does not seem like too long we should already be coming close to "delivery". 8 months also does not sound that long if you know when your due date is or haven't been feeling "pregnant" for the last now almost two years. The only way we see it now is to have HOPE in everything. We have HOPE that God has a plan for our family & HOPE that he already has the perfect child chosen for us. Our love for each other & the love for this child continues to grow everyday (even if my belly isn't).
"Hope is only a one way street - we are choosing to have HOPE instead of dwelling on what we want or don't have..."

Oh Kari I couldn't imagine feeling SO close! This is so exciting!! Sometimes thinking about how God has our whole lives already planned out and how we don't have a clue or any control is so overwhelming! I'm hoping that this is it for you guys!!

Love that picture. I know how long eight months feels...and I can't imagine how much longer it must feel, being this will be your first! So looking forward to that good news with you and being able to celebrate God's perfect timing!

Hi- I just found your blog through a friend's. I am excited to catch up on your adoption journey. My husband and I have been going through IF for almost 4 years and hope to adopt someday no matter what occurs naturally. Praying for your journey to end soon with a baby! :)
