So 9 months today we started on our adoption journey...although we started on our "baby" journey 21 months ago!! You would think that this journey would be going by really slow, but it hasn't. We have had so many things going on to pre-occupy us...from making the decision to paperwork to now waiting. Although we thought that the "waiting" stage would be the hardest we have felt 100% at peace knowing that it is not in our control anymore and now it is God's turn!! Although the whole thing is really in God's control...we just needed to fill out the paperwork, etc...Basically right now we are just in a holding pattern waiting to see if we are going to travel to meet the birthmother soon b/c she is unable to travel to us. We may know more today so please keep praying for this birthmother & for us as we await the next step in this incredible journey we are so lucky to be taking!!!
