WOW...we cannot believe that this weekend has finally come...we have been talking about this specific trip for at least the last 4 weeks if not longer and tonight is the last night before we venture to Idaho. We are excited about the journey, thrilled to meet the birthmother but nervous in anticipation of what is to come. For anyone going out of your comfort zone is hard but traveling to somewhere you are not familiar with and meeting people that may impact your life is a whole other thing. As we travel tomorrow please pray with us that we are safe throughout our travels and please continue to pray for me to stay healthy...so far feeling better the last 2 or so days...thanks goodness!! Please pray that this may be the weekend where we feel God's calling completely cemented in our hearts for this adoption journey. Pray that God places the right answers and/or questions on our hearts that we may be able to speak what we truly feel. Please continue to pray for us throughout these next few days...the actual meeting with the birthmother is Sunday...we are meeting her for breakfast, then attending church with her & her family and meeting their pastor & fellow worshippers and then heading to lunch with her entire family. We are sooooo excited about what this weekend holds and we feel truly blessed to be able to meet this birthmother & family regardless of the outcome...we are definitely going to be linked for life :)
Continue to check back throughout the weekend...we are taking our computer and hope to update the blog with the latest news and/or fun pictures in what could be out child's birthtown!!!

I will be praying for you this weekend. Take it all in and enjoy the weekend. One thing I learned with the adoption of my daughter is that its all God's doing. I believe God will speak with you this weekend and you will know :). God has a plan. Safe travels.
