We Are Thankful For...

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
We just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for everything that we are thankful for this holiday season. We think sometimes we get caught up in the materialistic world and everyday life and forgot what is really important. This day is set aside to remember all those things that mean the most to us. We also want to say THANK YOU so much for all of our adoption supporters, family, friends & blog readers...you are all so special to us.

We Are Thankful For...Each Other...We are thankful that God chose us to be part of each other's lives. Without each other we would not be where we are today. We are extremely grateful that God placed us in each other's lives to experience all that life's journey has to offer.

I Love You Brandon more than you will ever know...Baby Mulder is going to be so lucky to have you as his dad.

We Are Thankful For...Baby Mulder...We are so extremely thankful & grateful for this opportunity that God has given us to be part of the "adoption family". We are thankful that God has chosen us to parent such a wonderful little boy which is a special gift from above. Although he is not physically in our arms we already love him so much & cannot imagine not knowing him. We are extremely blessed and cannot wait for this journey ahead!!!

We Are Thankful For...Baby Mulder's Birthmother & Family...We are so thankful that we now have another family to join ours. We are thankful that God has placed this birthmother in our lives. We are thankful that she has received so much love & support from them and is such a great Christian woman that we are very proud to know.

We Are Thankful For...Dad & Mom (Kari's Parents)...We are thankful to have such wonderful loving & encouraging parents. We are thankful for all the love, support & help they have given us throughout our relationship so far. We are thankful for their friendship and thankful that our soon-to-be son will have wonderful Christian Grandparents. We are thankful that baby Mulder will have his very own "Poppyseed" (inside joke...love ya Dad)!!!

We Are Thankful For...Kelsey (Kari's Sister)...We are thankful for her love, support & most important her friendship. Being our only sister on that side we are thankful for the special bond that we share. We are so excited to see her as a first time auntie soon and excited to see where God leads her throughout the next few years. We know that he will bless her immensely because of what she shares with others.

We Are Thankful For...Dad & Mom (Brandon's Parents)...We are thankful to have parents that are so loving & supportive and no matter what decision they are always there to back us up. We are thankful that our child will grow up with such loving & wonderful Christian Grandparents.

We Are Thankful For...Kevin, Kayla & Baby VW-to-be (Brandon's Sister & Husband)...We are thankful that God has blessed Kayla with such a wonderful man in her life. We are thankful that God joined them together to become a family and now have blessed them with a baby on the way (Due Date: January 3rd). We are thankful that our little boy will get to have a cousin close in age and we know they will be best buddies.

We Are Thankful For...April & Cassie (Brandon's Sisters)...These two girls are so spunky & so much fun to be around. They are both gorgeous people both inside & out and we pray that God blesses them in the many years to come as they journey to find their future careers, spouses and what God is calling them to do.

We Are Thankful For...Our Faith...without Jesus dying on the cross for our sins & accepting him as our Lord & Savior we would not be the people we are today. Without our faith we would honestly have nothing...we love the feeling of knowing that no matter what happens God already has everything planned out for your life & someday we will see him in Heaven.

We are Thankful For...Our Home...we are so blessed to be able go home to every night to a warm house & curl up in our cozy warm bed. We are blessed to have warm food on the table and a place to call "Home".
