As we approach the Holiday season we all get caught up in the food, parties, gifts and games but sometimes I think that we forget to reflect on what the true Reason For the Season is. Christmas is such a fun time of the year to get together with family and enjoy good food & festivities but we also need time to remember why we celebrate Christmas. On December 25th Jesus was born...we need to remember to celebrate his birthday and give him all the glory for the season..."Glory to God in the Highest & on Earth Peace Be With You"!!!
We pray that this holiday and every other day of the year you will give God the glory in everything that you do or say. He has given us everything even everlasting life and without his birth we could not have the everlasting peace and joy that he provides.
This season has also given us a lot of reflect on thinking about the upcoming birth of our little boy. We have overwhelming feelings...over the last two holiday seasons we have prayed for a child and felt a little empty not knowing when or how we would become a family...then God showed up adoption!!! Although this originally this was not our first thought on how we would start a family but God had other plans. Since January 21, 2010 we have felt God's calling to start our family through adoption and we have never looked back. This has been an adventure of a lifetime and will continue to be as we look forward to the many years & holidays that we get to spend with Westyn. We feel so honored and blessed to be called to this journey and cannot wait for our son's birthday!!! We know it will be a day that we will never forget and we will never take for granted this little boy we have been given. Family is everything and we truly feel blessed to be able to welcome a new addition to the Mulder Family this coming year.
May you all have a blessed Christmas & Holiday season!!
Love...
Brandon & Kari (Soon To Be Westyn Too!!!)

Merry Christmas to you and your family:)
It is a great reminder for everything we have been given by the gift of God's son. Just wait until you get to experience all through the eyes of a child. I was driving home with the kids the other day and Michael says, "Christmas is not about Santa, Mom! It is about Jesus' birthday!" He even made "J" gingerbread cookies (a candy can cutter flipped upside down).
I'm so excited for you and I can't wait for that day for you! Merry Christmas to you as well!
Hope you all had a very merry Christmas! Glad you are keeping the 'Christ' in Christmas. Blessings!
