So all you prayer warriors of ours out there we have a few prayer requests for you for today especially. First and foremost Westyn's delivery date is fast approaching (11 days to be exact) and as everyone knows that means he could be coming at anytime...which we are so very excited about!!!
1. However, as of Saturday I (Kari) started battling a horrible cold/fever thing...if you could please pray that this nasty bug leaves that would be greatly appreciated. I want to feel good so badly when we get "the call" and want to be allowed to go to the hospital to meet my Baby Westyn. Everytime I get a cold it usually turns into a sinus/ear infection so praying that doesn't happen but also knowing I may need to call the doctor tomorrow afternoon if things do not change.
2. The next prayer request would be for our Birthmother...she is supposed to have another doctor's appointment today and we are anxiously waiting to see how things go. Last we heard she was having bad pain and just feeling the effects of being 9 months pregnant. Please pray for comfort & peace for her in the coming days!!
3. The last prayer request would be for Brandon & myself tonight as we have a conference call interview with Katelyn's Fund, which is a Grant we applied for back in August. They are interviewing us tonight to see if we are who we are as our application has described. Please pray that as I am not feeling very well that we are still about to convey exactly why God has placed adoption on our hearts and how important "funds" are to the completion of our adoption of Westyn!! Pray that his gives us guidance.
I will update you tomorrow of first how I am feeling, how our Birthmother's doctor's appointment went & how she is feeling and also how the Conference Call Interview went tonight!! Thanks again for all the support & prayers!!

Please place your loving hand on Kari and claim her healthy and healed! May this cold be short-lived and may she already be facing healthier days ~ starting NOW! We thank you for your desire to have her WELL when she meets her son!
I also live up to you, Westyn's birth mom. Lord, give her comfort in her late stage of pregnancy. Protect Westyn throughout these last few days of PG, as well as during labor, and delivery. Hold him in the palm of your hand as you help him enter into this loving family awaiting him! May he come in YOUR timing! Please cover his birth mother in your ever-loving care. Assure her of her great choice in Westyn's parents. Grant her your perfect peace in knowing that her loving decision to gift him to Brandon and Kari is ~ and always will be ~ perfect!
Lord, we also lift up to you this interview. You know the Mulder's needs and you know their hearts. Help them declare the love in their hearts, even when feeling ill. Let this couple's genuity shine through. May their interview go wonderfully and the results be abundant blessings.
We thank you for all that you are doing, Lord. We look forward to your answers of these prayers. In all of this, we give you praise. AMEN.

Definitely praying for you guys! Can't wait to hear your update. (I might would ask your doctor for some antibiotics to start now so your cold isn't able to turn into anything worse.)
