I cannot believe that our "Baby Mulder's Due Date" ticker on our blog now says "days" not months or weeks anymore. This is kind of surreal for us. Although we are filled with so much excited, anticipation & anxiousness we are also filled with so much nervousness like every first time parent. We are also still in shock I think too!!! We cannot believe that we are actually going to be parents in a matter of a week....this is insane!!! Although we have not had that "physical" connection with Westyn over the last 9 months we have so much of an "emotional" & "mental" connection with him already...we know that he will know who we are even if we didn't talk to him the whole way through the pregnancy. He will know!!!
An update on the Birthmother's situation...as of yesterday I think she is done being pregnant. She has started eating lots of fresh pineapple as she heard fresh pineapple helps start the labor process. So far we have not heard anything from them, but I am sure we will get another e-mail today saying how she is feeling today...I think it's going to be this weekend!!! We will keep you updated...

Wow! Hard to believe that time is finally coming for you. I have enjoyed so much reading your journey. It gives a gal like me, still waiting, some hope!
So excited for you Kari!!! Hope you are feeling better so you can fully enjoy holding your son for the first time....there's nothing better in this world than that!!! :) You'll be a great mommy!!!!
