Not Time Yet...

We know that everyone is on pins & needles, as are we...ok that is an understatement. Our daily conversations are about when "the time" will come, what time of day we will be on the road, how long will the delivery of our little guy take, seriously never ending questions.

I received a call this morning from Amie (Bethany Christian Services) stating that our Birthmother is actually now sick, I feel so bad for her because I know exactly how horrible I felt last week, so please pray that she feels better shortly. Anyway, due to the fact that she isn't feeling well it seems as if her contractions and any signs of labor have completely ceased. After yesterday hearing she was having severe pains we totally thought she would be in labor today...oh well. As of right now the plan is for her to rest & start feeling better and then to go to her scheduled doctors appointment on Thursday (March 10th) which is also Baby Westyn's due date. At that point if it looks like she is "ready" for labor then they might schedule an induction date either for Friday, this weekend or next week.

At this point we honestly didn't think that we would be here this weekend, but instead at this point it is looking like it. We are both very anxious and ready to be on the road, however we know that it is all in God's timing & plans for us, maybe he is trying to teach us BIG patience before Westyn comes. We have both longed for the last 26 months about welcoming our little baby home and actually never thought that this day would come and now that it is so close we feel as though we still have so many hurdles to overcome. We know though that everything works out in God's perfect plan & timing...we are resting in that!!

Please pray for our Birthmother that she was feel better soon because who wants to be in labor when you do not feel good...ugh!! Please also pray that we can also just be patient and wait for God's timing because it truly is better!!
