Over the last couple weeks since Grandpa Mulder's condition was declined we have truly began to understand how "special" & excited we are that Westyn joined our family when he did. Although all kids are a miracle from God we never thought we would be given that miracle. We trusted God 100% giving him everything knowing that he knew what was right for our family and he DEFINITELY did!!! Westyn was that missing piece to not only our family but also the missing piece to the next generation in our family. Grandpa Mulder has had the privilege of seeing both a Great-Granddaughter (Aubrey) and Great-Grandson (Westyn). He asks for them by name every time Brandon or Kayla come in the room...he just adores them!!! The other night while having a "special" family dinner we got some of the most amazing pictures of Westyn with his Great-Grandpa and I know he will cherish them forever...
When we sat Westyn down next to Grandpa he has just enough strength to lift his hand up to Westyn and Westyn grabbed on. It was the most precious thing ever!!!
Then Westyn proceeded to tell Grandpa a story and of course Grandpa knew he was there and listened...it was priceless!!!
