Update on Brandon...

So Brandon is doing really well the last few days. He is adjusting to using his left hand to most his daily tasks, he has even learned to put his contacts in left handed with one hand. Brandon's pain continues to basically be none existant, he is still feeling phantom pains but they are continuing to decrease as well. We visited our primary care physician yesterday and he checked Brandon's burn marks out and everything looked AWESOME he said!!! Then we visited his occupational therapist where she gave us lots of insight into how many tools were out there to assist in strengthening his left hand as well as desensitizing his right arm for prothesis. She also was in charge of wound care which meant that she took off the cast to see how the wound was healing. She looked it looked AWESOME and Brandon said it looked BEAUTIFUL!!! Things are starting to look up and we are adjusting to life now as the "new normal".

Brandon even felt so good yesterday that last night when some of our family from out of town came in we decided to go meet them...he enjoyed being out in public and enjoying some company. Westyn is still definitely Daddy's sidekick...Brandon even is figuring how to pick Westyn up off the floor with no assistance!!!

Please continue to pray that Brandon's spirits stay up and that he continues to heal from his accident both physically & emotionally...he is doing GREAT so far!!!
