Update on Brandon...He's Home!!!

So Brandon finally arrived home at 7:30 last night, we got released right about the time rush hour traffic started in Seattle. Brandon did extremely well on the ride home, he was cracking jokes and making us laugh like normal. He has had a relatively good day today...he is only experiencing what they call "phatom pain" meaning he is feeling pain where his fingers should be. He has been sleeping on and off all day today but please pray for better sleep for him tonight as he was experiencing nightmares about the "accident". We got Brandon some sleeping pills so hopefully tonight he will sleep better. Please also pray that I get some sleep soon as I have only slept 12 hours since Sunday...it's starting to catch up with me. We will continue to keep everyone updated as thing progress with Brandon's healing process.

Kari~so glad to hear it. Thank you so much for taking the time to update all of us. I am so excited to see what God is going to do with your family and how he is going to strengthen all of you. You are doing a wonderful job. I have some things to ask you and will try to get a hold of you tomorrow. Praying for a restful nights sleep for everyone and that Westyn will sleep well. Hugs to you all. Talk soon.

I'm praying for continued recovery. My brother had a similar accident (except it was a farming one) that left him with no fingers on his left hand and a lot of skin grafting.

Therapies are a lot of work, but we don't even notice Ryan's hand anymore- he can do everything we can do and is a very hard worker on the farm.

Praying God's will is done and that your family is more unified than ever.

Oh, Kari. We were out of town all last week so I am just now reading about Brandon's accident. I am so sorry. It sound like you are both clinging to the Lord...so you'll come through stronger! I wish we were closer to help but know that we are praying for your family.
