We finally decided it was time to take a short family vacation since we had to cancel two already this summer and what's summer without fun & vacation time. So we decided to load up with Westyn & my sister and head down to Seattle for an overnight adventure...it was a BLAST!!!
We visited the Ballard Locks...it was a perfect 80 degree day in Seattle to go down by the water and watch the boat go through the locks. We even enjoyed watching what few salmon there was in the salmon ladders.

We also headed to the Woodland Park Zoo that day...Westyn absolutely loved the aquarium when we went in May so we thought he would enjoy the zoo too...which he LOVED!!!
A big brown bear...they gave us quite a show heading down to their swimming whole which was directly down in front of us...Brandon's highlight he said :)
