It seems like this adoption I have been completely lacking on the blog posts...I know why I have a cute, crazy, spunky one year old to keep me busy!!! Hopefully I can start keeping everyone updated as things start to go into full speed and progress now!!!
Ok...Garage Sale Update needed...thank you to everyone who can out to support us last weekend. We had such a GREAT turnout & the contributions to our adoption fund was great as well. We are in the works of planning another fundraiser in July but cannot say anything yet (more to come on that later). Keep your ears peeled!!
On the adoption update...we are so close to being on the waiting list officially. I have sent my profile book to the adoption agency to proof read and then it is off to printing. We are still waiting on our fingerprints to come back from the FBI, hoping that is only a week or so away. Needless to say that is all we are waiting on. Oh and we got our first official "birthmother" call today!!! This was so exciting & also made me realize that we need to be ready at anytime...I guess once the book is done the car seat, bases & baby stuff needed to be dust off again and put back up (didn't I just pack them away...LOL). Anyway, this was not the right situation for our family but it gave us the realization that adopting Baby #2 so soon is completely God's plan for our family...we are so excited!!
We will keep you updated as things unfold in our process...please continue to pray for us as we get to the finish line of this journey and bring Baby Mulder #2 home!! Please also pray that finances will fall in order with the adoption fund as right not we are unsure of how we are going to pay for the second portion of this adoption. But as always we know that God is in control and he already has it all worked out...resting in that!!
