Crescent Bar 2012...Mulder Family Vacation

So Saturday we just arrived home from what we hope to be the annual Mulder Family Vacation...we had SO MUCH fun & created so many memories to last a lifetime. The weather was great, food fabulous, accommodations AMAZING and lots of family fun!!

 Daddy & Westyn at Cave B...we drove about 30 minutes to check out this AMAZING lodging located in a  vineyard overlooking the Columbia River...I hope we will go back there someday (hint hint)!!

 We could actually see Crescent Bar vaguely at the very end...

 Daddy & Westyn on the Pontoon Boat that Grandpa rented for the day...it was a BLAST!!!

 We were even able to dock the boat on a completely deserted river bar...the kiddos had fun playing in the sand, while the adults lounged around for awhile!!

 Westyn & Aubrey playing in the sand..however I think Westyn was 10 times dirtier in the end!!

 I think he is thinking...what is Mom going to think about how dirty I am...

needless to say we had to do a little clean off in the cold cold river...sorry buddy :)

This past week was much needed as we have not been on a vacation in two years...although I learned it's a lot more work going on vacation with kids!!! It took longer to pack, harder to fit nap time in but SO WORTH it seeing Westyn have so much fun!! Cannot wait to continue these traditions with hopefully being a family of four next year!!
