Having Faith...

We first want to start off by saying thank you!!! We want to say thank you to everyone that has given us kind words of encouragement and blessings even when our road has seem dark & lonely. Thank you to everyone who has given prayers on our family's behalf. This past week was a week that neither one of us ever wanted to go through but we did and God has been faithful every step of the way. When it seemed that everything was caving in on us and we had no where to turn God was there holding our chins up and pointing us in the right and new direction...without faith this week would have not been as easy to walk.

We are not saying that this past week was easy and honestly it wasn't...not trying to say we know how losing a child or a miscarriage feels but honestly if it feels anything like we have felt it completely stinks!! Our hearts go out to all those parents who have lost children in whatever way that may be. Our hearts are still hurting & aching at the thought of not welcoming that precious baby girl into our family but we know that God has bigger plans for our family.

Currently we are trusting, praying & having faith that God's big plan for our family will be clear as day...that he will show us the right direction for us to go. This road has not been easy and we know that the next road will not be easy either but in the end we know that we will get to where we are supposed to be. In turn our faith will grow stronger and our love for each other & God will increase abundantly. Right now we sit, we wait, we ponder and we pray because truly that is all we can do.

Like the image shows above we have faith not believing that God can but knowing that HE WILL!!!
Please continue to keep our family in your thoughts & prayers as we await the next chapter in our family's journey. As the dust settles it becomes more apparent that he is not done with our family walking the adoption journey it's just figuring out what path that he wants us to take. In the end we know we will welcome that precious, perfect, miracle into our family and that will be the day our little Westyn becomes a big brother and that day will be AMAZING!!!

I will be praying for clarity in your adoption direction God has planned for you two! I love that quote on faith...not believing He can, rather...KNOWING that He WILL. I will have to meditate on that. Praying for peace and comfort.
