We Are Happy To Announce....

That we are starting the ADOPTION PROCESS AGAIN!!! 

Well actually we are well through updating our Home Study and things are moving along quite quickly!!

That is exactly what this stack of paperwork means...

adoption has begun!! If you have adopted or walked through the adoption process with someone close to you, you know good and well this stack can be daunting. However since all we needed was a home study updated, fingerprints redone and background checks updated it hasn't been too bad.

So I am sure you are thinking or asking yourself so...what is your adoption process going to look like this time...well....

Currently we are on a "waiting" list to enter the YWAM Adoption Ministry Program in Puyallup but because they "full" with adoptive families they wanted us to wait until end or beginning of year. Needless to say after already being somewhat in this adoption process for 16 months another year until we are on the list and who knows when being placed seemed like a lot of time. 

So here's our plan...we are still going to on this list and if they call us we are gladly going to move onto their "waiting" list but in the meantime we are working with our social worker in Bellingham to pursue Private/Independent Adoption. We figure we are losing nothing in the meantime to see if this might be God's chosen path for our family.

So how can you help you ask (well at least I hope you ask)???

You can help us in "marketing/advertising" ourselves. We are going to be creating a "profile blog", make letters and "business cards" along with profile books to send out to everyone we know. We plan on sending out to OBGYN's, Nurse Practioners in our area, family, friends, church personnel, etc...so that is how we can use your help!!

If you know of anyone considering domestic adoption and does not want to work with an agency you can give them our information. Then our social worker contacts them and we can work through this process with her and our adoption lawyer. It's that simple :) well kind of!!

Once we have created all these items I will post some information on our blog and then you can let me know if you would like me to send anything your way for any purpose!!

Also please continue to keep our family in your prayers as we again start this endeavor to see what child God has chosen for our family. Westyn is SO READY to be a big brother and WE ARE SO READY to have another baby in our house (two children is plenty for us though)!!
