The Ultimate Sacrifice...

Happy Easter To All....

As we celebrate Easter today we reflect on Jesus paying the ultimate sacrifice so that our sins might be forgiven. I cannot even begin to image the pain & suffering that took place that very day (Good Friday) so that we could become children of God.

Today as we reflect on the "true" meaning of Easter we cannot help but think about our adoption and the sacrifice & selflessness. Let me explain...out there somewhere God has already choosen a baby from us. We do not know where they will be born, who they will be, or who the birthfamily will be but we know that somewhere there is a birthmother/father making the most selfless and sacrificial decision of their lives. This has been truly hard for us to wrap our heads around...but it seems fitting that we are thinking about this on Easter Sunday. Because on that Good Friday Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice for our signs and rose again today "Easter Sunday" so that we might have everlasting life & be washed away of our sins.

This our adoption journey is a long one full of many ups, downs, and triumphs along the way but we hold true to the fact that because with Jesus Christ we may have everlasting life. We cannot wait to share this gift & joy that we have found with our child...this is truly a blessing from God and we are fully ready to accept anything...that is with God on our side!!
