So for a little adoption update...
We are literally only a couple of weeks away from being on the Domestic Infant Adoption Program "waiting" list with Agape Adoptions. We ARE SO EXCITED (ok understatement)!!! We are only waiting on our FBI fingerprints to come back at this time, hopefully within a week or so. We also just ordered our profile books the other day which will be shown to birthmothers from all across the country in hopes of being matched with the chosen child God has already chosen for our family. With this being said it is still overwhelming to think about the cost involved in this adoption journey...we are still at least $15,000 plus traveling costs short of what we need to bring Baby #2 home. So this is what we are asking if you can think of any fundraising ideas or other things that would be beneficial to us as adoptive parents please let us know. We are so saddened that the adoption tax credit was taken away this year, it puts a huge stress on adopting families.
As always we continue to covet your prayers as this journey unfolds...it's scary, overwhelming and sometimes stressful road but SO WORTH IT in the end!! God already has it worked out we are just trusting in this plan, not ours...it's better anyways!!

Don't give up hope yet on the tax credit! It's set to expire at the end of this year but some congressmen just put it back on the floor--their stance would make it permanent. We need to pray and write our congressmen (people) to support it :)
