So I have GREAT, EXCITING, FANTASTIC news!! Our FBI Fingerprints came back today saying that we are approved for the adoption waiting list..honestly like we are murderers anyway...LOL!! We are so beyond thrilled this was the last and final thing we were waiting for before we were approved for the Domestic Infant Adoption Waiting List.
So what are the next steps you ask??? Well we are just simply waiting on our Home Study to be updated with our FBI Fingerprint approval dates, notarized and then scanned to us!! Once this is completed our GREAT adoption specialist at Agape Adoptions will send out our Home Study packet to placing agencies she works with in the US and Washington State. Needless to say we are anxiously awaiting that phone call now, although we know it is in God's Timing which is ALRIGHT with US!! We could also get a call randomly saying that a baby has already been born and the Birthmother has all the sudden chosen adoption for her child and we could have to leave at any minute...this is SO EXCITING!! So I guess you could say we are in the final trimester of our "paper pregnancy" now and awaiting the labor to kick in (WOW I seriously feel like we have already been "laboring" with all this paperwork!!).
Keep checking back for updates as this adoption journey unfolds to bring Baby Mulder #2 home!! WOW Westyn is going to be a BIG BROTHER soon :) and we are going to be parents to two babies!! God has truly blessed us and we are beyond excited to be on this journey!! After last July we honestly didn't know how are life was going to go, we had so many questions and so many things were unknown but throughout it all GOD has had a plan and we are finally seeing the positives come out of such a hard summer.
