Going Back to Westyn's Birthplace...Idaho!!

In our adoption contract it states that we have to make one trip to see Westyn's Birthmom before the age of 5...so this year due to many circumstances we decided would be the best time to go. We headed out yesterday at 2:00 in the afternoon, drove 10 hours straight through and arrived in Boise, Idaho around 1:00 am their time. Westyn was a CHAMP in the car...he took a nap, we stopped for dinner, he watched his new favorite movie "Turtle Tales" and then crashed for the remainder of our drive...no crying at all!!!

Today was our first day in Idaho so we decided to take Westyn to the big Cabela's in Boise...if you know my husband this store is a must. Of course I then talked him into letting me hit up TJ Maxx & Ross which I did find a new shirt & a few decorating items for my new office at work (more about that later).

WOW 20 months later...LOVE HIM!!!

All in all we are enjoying Idaho so far.....weather is great!!!

Tonight we are heading to the Northwest Nazarene Basketball game...Brandon's cousin coaches the team and we will be sitting with his wife Jacqueline...so excited to see them again!!!

Tomorrow we are taking Westyn's Birthmom, her husband and rest of her family to the Boise Zoo. We figured this way Westyn would have something fun to do for a few hours. Then we plan on spending the afternoon & dinner time with them. Saturday we head towards home, possibly stopping in Yakima to watch Brandon's youngest sister play in State Volleyball tournament.
