After many years of talking about wanting to sponsor a child...since first and foremost adoption is close to our heart...we prayed about & decided this was the year to sponsor a child in need!!
We want Westyn to grow up knowing that we need to be thankful for what we have and supporting/helping others is a very important thing. Needless to say this year was the year...after praying and talking with another adoptive family we came across a group called LifeSong for Orphans (they also support adoption) that has a school where you can sponsor children ranging from 4 years old on up.
After praying about and seeing where God was leading us, we decided to pursue the sponsorship of a little boy who is 4 years old in Ethiopia.

Isn't he as cute as can be??? Only wish we could legally adopt this little boy :)
We are very excited for our family to receive pictures & updates on this little boy over many years to come. We have also decided when Baby Mulder #2 comes home we will be sponsoring another child who is the same gender as our child so they can personally help & watch this young one thrive.
