Today we received the news we have been waiting to hear for a long time...parental rights were teminated at 1:30 PM today making us Westyn's "legal" parents now!!! We are so excited to finally be able to know that no one can take this precious little boy away from us. Then about 2 hours later we received a call stating, "you are now free to move about the country!!!"...meaning we are coming home!!! So the plan is to go spend some time with Westyn's birth family tomorrow morning until around 1:00 and then head towards Ellensburg where we will stay tomorrow night and then head home on Friday morning. We cannot believe that the day is almost finally here where we can share Westyn with our families.
In other news since it is now legal we are able to tell everyone the stats about his birth weight, height & date, so without further ado...
Westyn was born at 1:37 AM on Sunday, March 13th
(which is also Uncle Kevin & Aunt Kayla's Anniversary)
He weighed a whooping 6 lbs 9 ounces
He was 20 inches long
He has light brown hair and actually quite a bit and as of right now has blue eyes...he is adorable if we do say so ourselves!!
Anyway, we will update everyone when we arrive home and then hopefully post some pictures on Sunday night, by then all the immediate family will have met him!!
Thanks for you continued prayers and support...it has been a blessing!!
Please pray for safety as we travel home the next two days and as we get home and start our normal routine as a family of 3 now!!!
